What is your main motivation for playing music? What is your favorite thing about being in a band?

My favorite part of being in a band is playing live. I grew up doing theater and singing and that same rush of the immediate feed back and crowd reaction comes from playing in Silent Sirens. I love the camaraderie that we have and the uniting of our ideas in to one song. I play music cause it's an outlet for the things i have to say and a release of emotions and energy.
ReplyDeleteI agree that it's playing live. The adrenalin is pumping and you know right when you're locked in with the crowd because you feel the energy. There's also the moment when you have that one person just riveted to you and what you're playing and you feel the connection. As with Adrian, it's also a huge release of energy for me (I probably release more energy in one gig than I do in a week otherwise)and it's also the creative outlet that I need.
