Today's question is about audiences. When you play shows, who is in the audience? Are there more men or women? Are most of the people in the audience in bands or people who want to be in bands?
Our crowds for Chasing Amy are about 60/40 in favor of woman but the other band is more male. Most of our audiences are people that really just want to go out and have a good time. Between the two choices given though it's mostly band wanna be's.
I'm an Undergraduate student, studying social science with an anthropology focus in Chicago. I have a lot of love for local music. My research project is on community and and participation in the music scene.
I think our band has a good mix of men and women.
